Immersion Workshops (Accelerated Advanced Knowledge Transfer)

Immersion programs provide a combination of technology transfer and collaborative development activity. This approach is ideal when you want your development team to become proficient with new technology in the shortest possible time.

Immersion Programs Provide:

  • Advanced training programs customized to your own project and business domain.
  • Knowledge, needed to get your team up to productive levels in the least amount of time. (Java, Application Server Technology, JavaEE)

  • Time a head: Trim months off the time it would normally take to develop your application.

An immersion training program consists of classroom training followed by a customized development segment that focuses on developing an application based on your company's specific needs. A subset of the requirements for your project will be selected with your development team during a project-scoping phase so that a prototype or a few iterations of a subset of your system may be developed in the time available.

The development segments are normally broken into two-week sections that alternate between having a mentor present and having the development teamwork on its own. This approach allows the development team to gauge the level of proficiency and autonomy it has achieved as the project progresses. This way, the team can be confident it can carry on once the immersion program is completed.
